THE BRONNER TWINS

Kristie and Kirstie - 3.jpg

The Bronner Twins—Kirstie Foley and Kristie Brawley—are powerful change agents in today’s society. Whether through public speaking, mentoring, music, writing, or business, they love to be God’s hands and feet in the lives of people. They are ordained ministers, authors, worship leaders, mothers, and wives. They are both bi-vocational:  While being staff pastors at Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral (WOF), Kirstie is also a labor doula and childbirth educator; and, Kristie is also a baby sleep trainer

In 2013, Kirstie and Kristie became nationally acclaimed as the co-valedictorians of Spelman College, with matching 4.0 GPA's. This accomplishment, a testament of their commitment to excellence, hard work, and God, continues to provide many platforms for them to pour into the lives of a multitude of students. Their story has been featured in numerous media sources, including ABC World News with Diane Sawyer, Fox & Friends, Fox 5, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Essence Magazine, Ebony Magazine, National Public Radio, Radio One, and Emory University’s radio.

Kristie and Kirstie do inspirational speaking to young women, youth groups, and adults at traditional schools, alternative schools, mentoring programs, churches, non-profit organizations, and other events. Starting in 2010 when they were sophomores in college, they served unofficially as Word of Faith's youth event coordinators. And from 2013-2020, they served as the lead youth & young adult pastors at Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral and youth event coordinators, planning youth conferences, worship and social events, youth retreats, small group discipleship, and volunteer coordination. In addition, they are directors in the music department.

Fall of 2013, the Bronner twins founded a mentoring program for girls called Elite 31. Based on Proverbs 31:10-31, this program is a 9-month intensive experience designed to prepare young ladies culturally, spiritually, professionally, and domestically.

In 2014, they published their first book, Double Vals:  The Keys to Success in College and Life Beyond. This book, endorsed by best-selling authors such as Dr. John C. Maxwell and Pastor Steven Furtick, is a captivating compilation of their wisdom and exciting stories from their extraordinary college journey.

In 2015, they both got married, just two months apart! Kirstie married Kyle Foley, a pilot; and Kristie married Brandon Brawley, a real estate investor. They both have two children, with their oldest being girls and youngest being boys.

By the end of 2019, their roles at WOF began shifting from youth ministry to different departments. By 2020, Kristie became the pastor of membership development while Kirstie became co-pastor of small groups at WOF.

In February of 2020, they released their second book, Bridging the Gap:  What Teens Wish Their Parents Knew. This book shares their parents’ best secrets for raising exemplary teens and reveals insight from teenagers that Kirstie and Kristie have both interviewed and interacted with throughout their careers in youth ministry.

Kristie and Kirstie will continue expanding in exciting endeavors that connect with their passion for ministry, family, and Kingdom business.
